The Holy Prophet(saw) has said, “Rajab is the month for seeking forgiveness, so seek forgiveness from Allah (swt)

Imam Musa al-Kadhim (as) says “Rajab is the name of a river in heaven, which is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Whoever fasts in Rajab shall be able to drink from that river“.

Update: Sheikh Jaffer Ladak

Assalaamu alaykum,

As many of our members are aware, Sheikh Jaffer Ladak underwent intensive surgery earlier this week. We have been notified that alhamdulillah the surgery went well, and he is recovering. On behalf of Sheikh Jaffer and his family, we thank everyone who has been praying for him, and enquiring about his health. This has been greatly appreciated. Insha’Allah, we pray that he has a speedy recovery.

Hadith of the Day

Anyone who recites the Quran while standing in his Salat, Allah will record one hundred good deeds (in that persons book) for every letter that is recited; and anyone who recites the Quran while sitting in his Salat, Allah will record fifty deeds (in that persons book) for every letter recited; and one who recites it (the Quran) in other than his Salat, Allah will record ten good deeds for every letter that one recites.
